Magnetic Locator

This flux-gate type magnetometer finds underground ferrous metal fast by sensing magnetic field gradients. As the detector approaches the target, the pitch of the audio signal will rise and will peak loudest when the locator is directly over the center of the buried object.

Incorporating innovative technology, this magnetic locator locates ferrous objects underground, underwater, or in the snow up to 15′ (4.6 m) below the surface.
